Pregnancy, also called Gestation, is this time when one or more offspring develop inside a woman. Pregnancy is typically divided into three trimesters. The first trimester is from week one through 12 and includes conception. The second trimester is from week 13 through 28. The third trimester is from 29 weeks through 40 weeks. When you get pregnant, you get advice on what to eat and what not to during this crucial period, especially in India. But some food and vegetables are seriously harmed to pregnant women. So avoid this food as much as possible.

  1. Brinjal: 

    This is one of the most common vegetables used in an Indian kitchen. It has a capability to continue menstrual cycle who have a problem with it. So this is too dangerous if you eat more brinjal in pregnancy.

  2. Fennel seeds:

    In fennel seeds have phytoestrogens that perform the function of female estrogen and stimulate uterine contractions. If uterine contact then a chance to the baby comes out. So it is very dangerous for a pregnant mother.

  3. Papaya:

    Indians consider papaya to be very dangerous in pregnancy period as papaya can stimulate an abortion. Raw papaya has sufficient traces of latex; (which is known to trigger strong uterine contractions). This makes it advisable not to have raw or semi-ripe papaya during conception period.

  4. Sesame seeds:

    Sesame seeds have been proven to stimulate the uterine muscles triggering contractions and finally leading to the expulsion of the ovum that has fertilized. This normally occurs in the first trimester of pregnancy.

  5. Grapes:

    Grapes also contain a toxic compound called Resveratrol that can pose many complications by balancing the hormones of a pregnant woman. So avoid grapes that are better for pregnant mother health.
